The Kids Online Safety Act, or KOSA, appeared set to pass Congress last year, only to stall in the House. It was reintroduced earlier this month.

Social Media Victims Rememberance Day
On June 23, 2025, the Carson J. Bride Effect co-sponsored the annual Social Media Victims Remembrance Day, honoring 254 children whose parents have bravely shared their stories to raise awareness of the harms caused by social media. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need for accountability and safer online spaces for every child.


Graffiti memorial for Carson
NYC Graffiti Artists MenaceResa (Theresa Kim and Eric Cheung) spent 2 days in May 2021 creating a mural tribute to Carson at Other World Games & Comics in Portland, OR where he used to play Magic the Gathering with his older brother Jack.
