SB 1546 Testimony

On February 24, 2026, Kristin Bride testified before the Oregon House Committee on Behavioral Health in support of SB 1546, legislation aimed at establishing critical safety standards and accountability measures for AI chatbot platforms.

Gone In A Snap Rally

Kristin spoke out about the long list of dangerous platform design choices Snapchat has implemented in its pursuit of profit at the expense of children during the “Gone in a Snap” rally at Snapchat headquarters on February 12, 2026, in Santa Monica.

Section 230 Press Conference

On February 4, 2026, a press conference was held to highlight the urgent need to sunset Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996, which marks its 30th anniversary this Sunday. The event featured remarks from Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) on bipartisan legislation with Senator Lindsey Graham, as well as powerful testimony from survivor parents. Actor and advocate Joseph Gordon-Levitt was also in attendance, speaking in support of accountability and reform.

Unite Interview

For nearly 3 years, Kristin Bride has served on the Advisory Board of Unite for Safe Social Media, a nonprofit that promotes common sense, healthy and productive social media use.  This interview was conducted in support of Unite's recent awareness campaign.

Apple Store Demonstration

On June 24, 2025, in front of Washington DC's Apple Store, Kristin Bride speaks out about speaks out about NGL, a dangerous anonymous app sold on Apple's App Store.  

HEAT Initiative Demonstration

On April 24, 2025, Kristin Bride speaks at a Heat Initiative demonstration against Meta in NYC asking them to end the algorithmic promotion of dangerous content to children that promotes eating disorders, suicide and drug use.

KOSA Rally

Kristin Bride speaks out in support of the 2024 Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) at a rally on Capital Hill in Washington, D.C. on December 10, 2024.

Grand Central Station Demonstration

On December 5, 2024, during an Apple Store protest in NYC's Grand Central Station,  Kristin speaks out about NGL, a dangerous anonymous app sold on Apple's App Store.
